Support workflow
Use the shortcuts below in the ticket channel. The examples use this server's . prefix.
Work a new ticket
- Start with
.hito welcome the member. Do this before the rest of the response. - Reply with
.r <message>for a normal reply, or.ar <message>for an anonymous reply. - If the ticket is about a promotion or application, use one of the move shortcuts below.
- When the request is resolved, close the ticket with
.c.
Shortcuts
| Shortcut | What it does |
|---|---|
.hi | Sends the welcome message. Use this first on a new ticket. |
.r <message> | Replies to the member. |
.ar <message> | Sends an anonymous reply. |
.applications | Moves the ticket to the Promotions/Applications category, renames it, and posts a ticket-moved reply. |
.moveapplications | Same Promotions/Applications move workflow. |
.movepromotions | Same Promotions/Applications move workflow. |
.promotions | Same Promotions/Applications move workflow. |
.else | Use for requests outside the usual reply or Promotions/Applications workflow. |
.c | Closes the ticket. |
.ll | Log-link shortcut; currently out of use. Do not rely on it. |
The four Promotions/Applications shortcuts perform the same routing action: the ticket is moved to the category, renamed, and a move reply is sent in the ticket.
